Emergency assistance is available to qualifying Denver County residents only.  If you live outside of Denver County, you do not qualify for this emergency assistance. Please contact 211 for services in your county. If you are in need of locating housing or shelter, please contact 211 or visit findhelp.orgHousing and shelter assistance is not provided by this emergency assistance program.

If you are a DHS employee, please do not fill out the online form. Instead, review the information below to learn how to apply:

I am a Denver Human Services employee. How can I apply for Emergency Housing Assistance?

If you are an employee of Denver Human Services, please do not use the online form to apply for the Emergency Housing Assistance program (which includes rental, mortgage and energy assistance). This is for in-house confidentiality and privacy purposes.

Instead, you should request support by completing and submitting the fillable application at the link below:

When you are finished, send an email to employeeapplication@denvergov.org. In that email, attach your completed application along with all required verifications.
